Diatomaceous Earth a Rich source of Silica
Diatomaceous Earth is a rich source of silica. What is Silica? Silica is a mineral, water soluble, declines as we age, and it detoxes intestinal worms. In nature, you'll find silica taking the form of quartz or sand. Silica (aka silicon dioxide) occurs naturally in the earth's crust. It can be found in water sources, animals, and in plants. Silicon and Oxygen are two of the earth's most abundant natural compounds. In fact, silicon, dioxide is the second most abundant element in the earth's crust.
We lose silica as we age. Food-grade diatomaceous earth is composed of 90% silica. DE is formed from the fossilized remains of hard-shelled algae called diatoms. It supplies the body silica, because of its mildly abrasive properties, it aids in elimination of molds, mucus, fungi, and toxic heavy metals such as mercury.
The use of silicon has come to be associated with health benefits, including its potential to support bone health, collagen production, hair and nail health. and immune function.
One of its most important features is that Diatomaceous Earth has a negative ionic (electrical) charge that attracts the positive charge of the harmful heavy metals, free radicals, viruses, toxins, pathogens, pesticides and parasites that have collected in our bodies. DE has a honeycomb structure with sharp microscopic edges that trap those poisonous pathogens in our GI tract and our bloodstream and remove them through our normal elimination processes, it acts as a chelation.
Those two characteristics together cleanse our entire bodies and reduce inflammation and
help heal diseased organs.
Diatomaceous earth components include 85% silica (we need this to survive).
